Funerals at ipswich minster  

The Minster is available for funerals or for memorial services, or services of thanksgiving, subject only to agreeing a day and time.

There are no restrictions on whose service might be held here. Previous links with the church or church attendance are not necessary. The Minster is here for the whole community in Ipswich.

There are nationally agreed fees which are payable and details of these can be obtained from our Parish Administrator. Additional costs may be added dependant on the options chosen.

Most people arrange a funeral through their funeral director who will then contact us. However you are very welcome to contact us directly, if you think that would help: please see our contact page. It’s important that you have the service you and your loved ones want and we can ensure that you have a service as unique as the person whose life you’re celebrating.
